Always unplug machine before cleaning, or making
any adjustments or repairs.
Thebackpackvacuumhasfourlevelsofltration:Thepaperbag,amicrocloth
bag,apre-motorlterandanexhaustlter.Thesebagsandltersaredesigned
tocaptureneparticlesandprotectthemotorfromdirt.Itisimportanttoreplace
thepaperbagwhenitisnomorethan½fullandtocleantheltersonaregular
schedule.Replaceltersevery6monthsorasyouseeperformancedecline.
Exhaust lter
Theexhaustlterisaneasy-access,washableandreusablelterlocatedon
the lower front of the cleaner. For average use of the vacuum, remove and
cleantheexhaustlterevery3months.Theltercanbewashedusingcold
waterandnodetergent.Layattodry.Replaceonceayear.
1.Removethefoamlterexhaustcoverusingthelatchatthetop.Remove
lter,cleanandreplace(gure6).
2.Reinstallthelterintoexhaustcoverandreattachcovertofrontofcleaner.
Pre-motor lter
Thepre-motorlterislocatedunderthehousingassembly(gure5).Access
thelterbyremovingthehousingassembly.Theltercanberemovedby
rotating counter-clockwise 45 degrees.
Itisrecommendedthatthelterbereplacedevery6months.
Micro cloth bag
After each use, the micro cloth bag should be inspected. Wash the micro cloth
bag every 6 months using cold water and no detergent. Line dry.
3.Removethemicroclothbag,cleanandreplace(gure4).
4. Replace paper vacuum bag and lid. Fasten latches and replace hose.
Paper Vacuum Bag
1. Remove paper bag. Insert a new paper bag into the micro cloth bag, making
surethecardboarddiskiscenteredontheexiblesealingring(gure1).
2.Replacethelid.Fastenthelatchesandreplacehose(gure2&3).
