e. At the upper handrail clamp, place a lock washer (B) on each screw (H)
and insert the screws into the handrail clamp. Tighten the screws
securely using the proper Allen wrench. See Diagram 8.
f. Check the lower handrail bolts and tighten the locknuts and bolts
securely. Hold the bolt with your Allen wrench while you turn the locknut
with a socket wrench. Refer to Diagram 7 on page 7.
g. Slide the handrail boot down and secure it over the bolt and locknut.
CAUTION: A fully-assembled C764 climber is very heavy. To avoid
possible injury, Precor recommends that more than one person move
the climber to its final location.
8. If you need to move the climber, ask for assistance. The climber weighs over
180 pounds. It is recommended that you and your assistants place a hand
truck under the rear crossbar to move the climber.
CAUTION: Do not remove or otherwise bypass the 3-prong plug with
an adapter in order to use a non-grounded outlet. Do not plug the
climber into a power transformer in an attempt to adjust the voltage
requirements. Failure to follow these instruction might damage the
unit and void the manufacturer’s limited warranty.
9. Plug the climber into a grounded outlet. Be sure to use the appropriate
voltage requirements. Refer to
Installation Requirements
on page 3.
