Procedure 7.24 - Replacing the Column
Removing the Column
1. Turn off the climber with the circuit breaker, then unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
WARNING
Before continuing with this procedure, review the Warning and Caution statements listed in
Section One, Things You Should Know.
2. Remove the handlebar assemblies as described in Procedure 7.24.
3. Remove the fasteners that secure the upper handlebar clamp to the column.
4. Slide the enclosure collar up on the column.
5. Disconnect the lower ribbon cable from the upper ribbon cable.
6. Remove the fasteners that secure the display base plate to the column (see Diagram 7.22).
Hold the display to prevent it from being damaged.
