INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Before Using Your Freezer x Remove the exterior and interior packing. x Check to be sure you have all the following parts: o 1 Storage Basket o 1 Instruction Manual o 1 Plastic Scraper (optional) x Before connecting the freezer to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately 2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from handling during transportation. x Clean the inside with a damp warm cloth with water and baking soda solution.
x x The range of the temperature control includes the following settings: Min, Max and OFF. Adjust the temperature control to the setting that best suits your needs. To turn the freezer off, turn the temperature control to ³OFF´. NOTES: x Turning the temperature control to ³OFF´ position stops the cooling cycle but does not shut off the power to the freezer. x If the unit is unplugged, loses power, or is turned off, you must wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting it.
HELPFUL HINT: Defrosting usually takes a few hours. Leaving the door open will help speed the process. Also, pouring warm water (not boiling) on the ice/frost will help speed melting. If you must use a scraper - please use caution and a plastic scraper - it is very easy to damage the freezer compartment and void your warranty. The Freezer Compartment x This compartment is designed for the long-term storage of frozen food. Storage time is up to three months.
Planning a Scheduled Vacation x Remove all the food. x Unplug the freezer. x Clean the freezer. x Leave the door slightly open to avoid possible formation of condensation, mold, or odors. x Use extreme caution in the case of children. The unit should not be accessible to child¶s play. x Short vacations: Leave the freezer operating during vacations of less than three weeks. x Long vacations: If the appliance will not be used for several months, remove all food and unplug the power cord.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE PROBLEM Freezer does not work. Compressor turns on and off frequently. Temperature inside the freezer is too warm. Temperature inside the freezer is too cold. Popping or cracking sound when compressor comes on. Bubbling or gurgling sound, like water boiling Vibrations. Moisture forms inside freezer walls. Moisture forms outside of the freezer. The door will not close properly. POSSIBLE CAUSE Not plugged in. The circuit breaker tripped or a blown fuse.

Limpie el interior del congelador. Reponga el tapón de desagüe. Coloque el termostato en la posición deseada.
CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO Limpiando su Congelador x Luego de instalar su nuevo equipo, se recomienda limpiarlo cuidadosamente con regularidad. x Gire el control de temperatura a la posición "OFF", desenchufe el congelador, retire los alimentos y la cesta para alimentos. x Lave el interior con un paño húmedo caliente con solución de agua y bicarbonato de sodio. La solución debe ser aproximadamente 2 cucharadas de bicarbonato de sodio en un litro de agua. x Lave la canasta con una solución detergente suave.
