2. HAZARD IDENTIFICATION

EMERGENCY OVERVIEW: Product Description: This product is an amber liquid or colored (if pigmented) with a mild solvent

odor. Health Hazards: Inhalation overexposures to the vapors of this product can cause central-nervous system effects (dizziness,

drowsiness, nausea, and headaches). Eye contact can cause moderate to severe irritation. Skin contact may be irritating, especially if

contact is prolonged. Ingestion may cause central nervous system effects. Ingestion of large quantities may be fatal. Ingestion may

lead to aspiration into the lungs. Flammability Hazards: This product is combustible and may form potentially explosive mixtures

with air if subjected to high ambient temperatures or if highly heated. WARNING! Rags, paper or other combustible materials soaked

in this product can cause an extreme fire hazard when not disposed of properly. See Section 7 (Handling and Storage) for more

information. Vapors of this product may travel to a source of ignition and flashback to a leak or open container. If involved in a fire,

this product will release smoke, acrid vapors and toxic gases (i.e., carbon oxides, aromatic hydrocarbons, reactive hydrocarbons and

aldehydes). Reactivity Hazards: This product is not reactive. Release of this product to the environment may cause harm to plants

and animals. Emergency Response Considerations: Emergency responders must wear proper personal protective equipment (and

have appropriate fire protection) suitable for the situation to which they are responding.

potential carcinogens, reproductive toxins, respiratory tract sensitizers, and mutagens) or do not carry a hazard classification and do not present additional hazards to the

product.

4. FIRST-AID MEASURES

PROTECTION OF FIRST AID RESPONDERS: Rescuers should be taken for medical attention if necessary. Remove or cover gross

contamination to avoid exposure to rescuers.

DESCRIPTION OF FIRST AID MEASURES

: Contaminated individuals must seek medical attention if any adverse effect occurs. Take

a copy of label and MSDS to physician or health professional with the contaminated individual.

Skin Exposure: If this product contaminates the skin and irritation develops, immediately begin decontamination with soap and water. Remove

exposed or contaminated clothing, taking care not to contaminate eyes. The contaminated individual must seek medical attention if adverse effects

continue after flushing.

Eye Exposure

: If this product enters the eyes, open victim's eyes while under gently running water. Use sufficient force to open eyelids. Have victim

"roll" eyes. Minimum

flushing is for 20 minutes. The contaminated individual must seek medical attention if adverse effect occurs after flushing.

Inhalation

: If vapors, mists, or sprays of this product are inhaled, remove victim to fresh air. If necessary, use artificial respiration to support vital

functions. Seek medical attention if adverse effect occurs after removal to fresh air.

Ingestion

: If this product is swallowed, CALL PHYSICIAN OR POISON CONTROL CENTER FOR MOST CURRENT INFORMATION. DO

NOT INDUCE VOMITING, unless directly by medical personnel. Have victim rinse mouth with water or give several cupfuls of water, if conscious.

Never induce vomiting or give diluents (milk or water) to someone who is unconscious, having convulsions, or unable to swallow

. If vomiting

occurs, lean patient forward or place on left side (head-down position, if possible) to maintain an open airway and prevent aspiration.

FIRST-AID MEASURES (Continued) MEDICAL CONDITIONS AGGRAVATED BY EXPOSURE: Acute or chronic respiratory conditions, skin disorder, central nervous system conditions, or disorders involving the “Target Organs” (see Section 11, “Toxicological Information”) may be aggravated by overexposure to this product. IMMEDIATE MEDICAL ATTENTION AND SPECIAL TREATMENT NEEDED: Treat symptoms and eliminate overexposure. Provide oxygen, if necessary.

PART III How can I prevent hazardous situations from occurring? 7. HANDLING and STORAGE PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING: WARNING! Wadded up and oil soaked paper towels, rags or other combustible materials thrown into the trash pose an extreme fire hazard when placed in trash, or left in a pile and can start a fire. The same is true if the absorbent used to clean up a spill is paper, wood or other combustible material; Do NOT throw in trash.

11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION (Continued) HEALTH EFFECTS OR RISKS FROM EXPOSURE: An Explanation in Lay Terms. ACUTE: Overexposures to this product can moderately to severely irritate contaminated eyes. Inhalation and ingestion overexposure can cause depression of the central nervous system. Ingestion may be harmful or fatal and may cause aspiration into the lungs. CHRONIC: Prolonged or repeated skin exposures can cause dermatitis (dry, red skin).

MOBILITY: This product has not been tested for mobility in soil, but is expected to be highly mobile. PERSISTENCE AND BIODEGRADABILITY: This product has not been tested for persistence or biodegradability. Some biodegradation is expected due to the organic oil components. BIO-ACCUMULATION POTENTIAL: This product has not been tested for bio-accumulation potential.

This exposure value means exactly the same as a TLV, except that it is enforceable by OSHA. The OSHA Permissible Exposure Limits are based in the 1989 PELs and the June, 1993 Air Contaminants Rule (Federal Register: 58: 35338-35351 and 58: 40191). Both the current PELs and the vacated PELs are indicated.
