If a wired connection is available, the RML mixer will not scan for wireless networks. Once you make the connection, the RML-series mixer will be shown in the Universal Control launch window.

Select the gear icon under the wireless network section and the network list view appears, showing all of the wireless networks being seen by the RML mixer. Note: Scanning for networks can take a little time.

However, it can also put control of the RML mixer in multiple hands— some more adept than others.

Press the Main button to select the main mix for monitoring, or the Cue button to select the current cue source. 3. Connect a pair of headphones to the jack. 4. Slowly raise the level to the desired listening level. By default, the cue source is set to monitor the stereo solo bus.

These are by no means the only ways to record these instruments. Microphone selection and placement is an art. Point a large- diaphragm condenser microphone at the bridge of the guitar, approximately 12 inches from the guitar. Experiment with distances and microphone placement. Another popular method is using an XY microphone placement with two small-diaphragm condenser microphones. (See Drum Overheads picture.
