4. FIRST AID MEASURES
INHALATION: Remove to fresh air. Administer oxygen if needed. Apply artificial respiration if breating has stopped .
Get medical attention.
EYE CONTACT: Wash immediately with large volumes of fresh water for at least 15 minutes . Get medical attention.
SKIN CONTACT: Treat for frostbite. Wash with soap and water. Get medical attention if irritation persists.
INGESTION: Not a likely route of exposure.
Most important symptoms/effects, acute and delayed: Repeated exposure may cause skin dryness or cracking.
May cause drowsiness or dizziness.
Indication of immediate medical attention and special treatment needed: None known.
5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES
Suitable and unsuitable extinguising media: Foam, Alcohol foam, CO2, Dry chemical, Water fog. Water spray may be
ineffective.
Specific hazards arising from the chemical: Closed containers may explode from internal pressure build-up when
exposed to extreme heat and discharge contents. Liquid content of container will support combustion. Overexposure to
decomposition products may cause a health hazard. Symptoms may not be readily apparent. Obtain medical attention.
Hazardous decomposition products include smoke, carbon monoxide and other products of incomplete combustion.
Oxides of nitrogen may also be formed.
Special equipment and precautions for fire-fighters: Water may be used to cool containers to prevent pressure build-
up and explosion when exposed to extreme heat. Wear goggles and use self-contained breathing apparatus . If water is
used, fog nozzles are preferred.
6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Personal precautions, protective equipment, and emergency procedures: Avoid breathing vapors. Ventilate area.
Remove all sources of ignition. Protect against contact with liquid if present.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up: Clean up residue with absorbent material and place in closed
containers for disposal.
7. HANDLING AND STORAGE
Precautions for safe handling: Do not puncture or incinerate (burn) cans. Do not stick pins, nails, or any other sharp
objects into opening on top of can. Do not spray in eyes. Do not take internally. See product label for additional
information.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Store and use in cool, dry, well-ventilated areas. Do not
store above 120 F.
