VII. DISASSEMBLY AND ASSEMBLY
DISASSEMBLY
No tools are required to disassemble or assemble your Travel Scooter. Always disassemble or assemble your
Travel Scooter on a level, dry surface with sufficient room for you to work. Keep in mind that the disassembled
sections of a Travel Scooter take up more floor space than the assembled Travel Scooter.
You can disassemble the Travel Scooter into two pieces: the seat and the main frame. See figure 17.

To disassemble the Travel Scooter:
1. Turn the tiller lock knob to its locked position. See IV. “Your Travel Scooter.”
2. Remove the seat by lifting it straight up and off of the Travel Scooter.
3. Loosen the tiller adjustment knob and lower the tiller to its lowest point, then tighten the tiller adjustment knob.
ASSEMBLY
To assemble the Travel Scooter:
1. Loosen the tiller adjustment knob, raise the tiller to its desired position and retighten the tiller adjustment knob.
2. Turn the tiller lock knob to its UNLOCKED position. See figure 7.
3. Install the seat.
