Installation & Adjustment Information
To Install: Remove old flush valve assembly and make sure the valve
is free from debris or defects. Install flush valve into the assembly and
tighten. Tighten to 90 in/lbs pressure.
To Adjust: Loosen Hex Nut below push button to remove unit from
body. If Dash Pot does not come out with rest of the assembly,
remove with finger.
To increase water flow, tighten the screw at the bottom of the dashpot.
To reduce
flow, loosen screw. If the valve shuts off too slowly, re-
move unit and dash pot, clean and use plumbers grease on rubber
washer under dashpot to prevent sticking. If problem persists, replace
felt washer and reset for proper flow. Depending upon individual con-
ditions, the screw can be set loose enough to allow felt washer to
move freely.
