9. ANNEX: OVERVIEW OF ERROR CODES, MESSAGES
AND TROUBLESHOOTING AIDS
9.1. ERROR HANDLING
• When an error occurs, the machine will go automatically in to a safety state.
• With the diagnostic program you can determine the problem.
• The diagnostic program will test all the functions of the dryer.
9.2. MONITORING TEMPERATURE AND HUMIDITY VALUES
AT RUN TIME
The values temperature sensor 1 & 2 and absolute air humidity sensor can be watched while
drying the linen.
This can be helpful for diagnostic purposes.
While dryer is running, key switch in Program mode, press High Temperature Button and the
Temperature sensor 1 & 2 values and analogue value humidity sensor is shown for 2 seconds.
Sequence : t1, XXX, t2, YYY, Hum, ZZZ
XXX = value temperature sensor 1
YYY = value temperature sensor 2
ZZZ = value absolute air humidity (value is 0, if sensor not available)
9.3. PROBLEM CHECK LIST
Problem Cause Solving the problem
When the power is switched on :
the display is not lighting up
Remark :
The display must always light up
when the power connector is
connected to the power board
(EPROM-Flash memory with software
must be implemented)
• no external power
• the emergency button is activated
• the power connector is not
connected on the board
• check the power supply connector
has been connected correctly
• an external fuse interrupted feeding
• disconnect the input connector
• check if the EPROM-Flash memory
that contains the software is in it's
socket
• check if the EPROM-Flash memory
that contains the software is not been
turned 180°
• Switch on the external power suply
• verify the external tension of the
machine
• deactivate the emergency button
• connect the power connector
• check the wiring and connect the
connector as it must be
• check the wiring and the tension at the
power Connector
• After investigation and solving problem,
replace the Fuse
• if the display is lighting up:
verify that the input signals or the
+14V signal are not touching the cabinet
• if there is no EPROM-Flash memory on
the main board, put the right EPROM-
Flash memory with software into the
socket
• check that pin 1 of IC corresponds with
pin 1 of Socket
Coins are inserted but the displayed
program price is not counting down
• the microcontact mounted on the
coindrop is not functional
• the optocoupler mounted on the
coindrop is not functional
• check the wiring to the coindrop
• verify if you have entered a coin
value in the „u“-submenu for the
corresponding coindrop
• verify the well functioning of the
microcontact of the coindrop
• positive pulses should be generated
• verify the well functioning of the
optocoupler, positive pulses should be
generated
• if the wiring is broken: repair the wiring
• insert the correct coin value in the „u“-
submenu
