4. INITIALIZING THE MACHINE
4.1. INITIALISATION MENU
ATTENTION!!!
BEFORE MAKING CHANGES IN THE INITIALISATION MENU READ CAREFULLY THIS MANUAL. THE
CHANGES YOU MAKE WILL INFLUENCE THE DRYER PROCESSES AND PRICE SETTINGS.
BEFORE MAKING CHANGES WE RECOMMEND TO WRITE DOWN CAREFULLY WHAT THE
PREVIOUS SETTINGS WERE.
HOW TO GET INTO THE INITIALISATION MENU
The initialisation menu can only be accessed when the machine is in stand by (the machine is powered up
but no program is started).
1. The First step is to enable the keyboard buttons for Program Mode. Turn the key switch into
„Program mode“ position.
Vandalism Free keypad : Press „UPPER“ and „MIDDLE“ TEMPERATURE button at the same
time for 1 second
.
When the „-p-“ Submenu is displayed , release both buttons.
Now you can select the appropriate initialisation submenu:
2. Press the „MIDDLE“ TEMPERATURE button to switch between the different initialisation
submenus.
The characters „-p-“, and „-o-“ will appear one by one by pressing the „MIDDLE“ TEMPERATURE
button.
3. Press the „UPPER“ TEMPERATURE button to select the specific initialisation submenu.
Now you see the first menu-item of the selected sub-menu.
The submenus are explained in the next paragraphs.
Read first the parts: „How to change values and settings“ and „Use of the „UPPER“ and „MIDDLE“
TEMPERATURE buttons“. When you want to leave the initialisation menu: select the „o“ submenu by
pressing the „UPPER TEMPERATURE“ button. Now you are back in the operations mode.
HOW TO CHANGE VALUES AND SETTINGS
A VALUE:
a number that can be modified
build up by 1, 2 or 3 display units
example: a time value
A SETTING:
a menu-item can be „on“ or „oFF
example: Coin Machine „cn“ : on/oFF
ATTENTION:
YOU CAN ONLY MODIFY A VALUE OR SETTING WHEN THE CORRESPONDING VALUE OR
SETTING IS FLASHING
. AS A VALUE CAN BE BUILD OUT OF 3 DISPLAY UNITS, YOU HAVE TO
MODIFY DISPLAY UNIT BY UNIT.
USE OF THE „UPPER“ AND „MIDDLE“ TEMPERATURE BUTTONS
There are only 6 different cases that we have to handle:
I. THE MENU-ITEM IS DISPLAYED + THE „MIDDLE TEMPERATURE“ BUTTON IS
PRESSED:
The next menu-item is displayed.
II. THE MENU-ITEM IS DISPLAYED + THE „UPPER TEMPERATURE“ BUTTON IS
PRESSED:
The setting or value of the corresponding menu-item is displayed.
III. THE SETTING OR VALUE OF A MENU-ITEM IS DISPLAYED AND NO DISPLAY
UNIT IS FLASHING + THE „UPPER TEMPERATURE“ BUTTON IS PRESSED:
