Do not press too hard. If you hear the motor rotating more slowly or if it stops, you are pressing too hard.
The motor will not become damaged because the thermal protective device turns the motor off if it is
overstrained. If this occurs, we advise you to switch the juicer to position 0. After a few minutes, the
motor will cool down and the Princess Juicer can be used again. Always switch the juicer off after use.
In some cases, it is easier to press half on the juicing cone with your hand instead of the lid. Switch the
juicer onto position I. On this setting, the juicing cone will turn continuously no matter what position the
lid is in. Lift up the lid and press one half onto the middle of juicing cone with your hand. This method is
recommended when the fruit, such as small oranges, lemons and large grapefruits, do not fit onto the juicing
cone. This method is also recommended for hard (refrigerated) fruit.
CLEANING
FIRST UNPLUG THE CORD FROM THE SOCKET
Clean the juicer after each use to prevent leftover food from sticking. Clean the exterior of the housing
with a soft, damp cloth. The press cone, the lid, the reservoir and the drip tray can easily be removed
from the appliance. Do not wash these parts in the dishwasher. They can be washed in hot soapy water.
Do not use abrasive or strong detergents.
NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER OR OTHER LIQUID. IF THIS DOES HAPPEN,
DO NOT USE THE APPLIANCE AGAIN. FOR SAFETY REASONS, DISPOSE OF THE APPLIANCE.
To remove the press cone, the lid and the reservoir:
1. Lift up the handle and keep held while removing the press cone.
2. Turn the lid 90 degrees clockwise/anti-clockwise to release the lid.
3. Take out the juicing cone with pulp compartment from the reservoir. Turn the reservoir anti-clockwise.
The reservoir can be removed from the juicer when you hear a click.
Reassemble these parts in the reverse order.
