The indicator light will come on whenever the "COOL AIR", "WARM AIR" or "HOT AIR" settings are in use.
The heating element(s) will continue heating until the room temperature has reached the preset temperature
controlled by temperature regulating switch (2). It/they will then switch off, leaving only the fan running.
The room temperature will remain above the set temperature for a time before gradually dropping back.
As it falls below the pre-set temperature, the heating element(s) will switch on again, and the cycle will
keep repeating itself again and again. The temperature control switch can be turned to different settings
according to your own preferences. The room temperature (i.e. the temperature that can be preset with the
thermostat on the heater) can be adjusted if desired or necessary by turning the temperature regulating
switch between "MIN" and "MAX" position.
CLEANING
FIRST UNPLUG THE CORD FROM THE SOCKET
Use a damp cloth to wipe off the outside of the machine. Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaners,
including scouring powder and scourers.
Do not forget that cleaning can only be performed after the plug has been removed from the socket.
* Set the switch to the "OFF" position.
* Remove plug from the socket.
* Wait for the heater to cool down sufficiently.
* Clean the outside of the heater with a vacuum cleaner or duster. Be careful not to allow drops of water
to enter the appliance.
* The appliance should be cleaned at least twice a year (with average usage).
NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
PRINCESS TIPS
- This fan heater is suitable for household use only.
- Make sure the cord or extension cord is carefully positioned so as to prevent anyone tripping over it.
- If the heater or cord are damaged, we advise you not to use the appliance but to take it to the retailer
for repair. Damaged cords can only be replaced by our service department.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Place the fan heater on a sturdy table or cupboard or other stable surface. Do not place the fan heater
in or near an open window. Ensure there are no objects in the direct vicinity.
- Do not use the fan heater in damp rooms such as bathrooms and do not use it near a washbasin or any
other water container.
- Make sure there are no curtains or clothing hanging near the fan heater.
- Do not move the fan heater when it is switched on.
U.K. WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE = neutral, BROWN = LIVE, GREEN-YELLOW = EARTH
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour
markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or
coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L
or coloured red.
The wire which is coloured GREEN-YELLOW must be connected to the earth terminal
which is marked with the letter E or or coloured green and yellow.
With this appliance, if a 13 amp plug is used a 13 amp fuse should be fitted. If any other
type of plug is used a 15 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or at the distribution
board.
