Method

If possible, set all speakers to "large".

The script will perform sweeps for each pair of channels in turn. For each test, you will be asked to

play track

Click the

[OK]

button to start the test, and then play track 49.

The dScope senses the 60 logarithmically-spaced frequencies on the test track, measures the

THD+N at each, and produces a plot of the results for both channels.

Specification

Across the frequency range, the THD+N for line outputs should be less than –60dBr and for

headphone or speaker outputs, less than –57dBr. At higher frequencies, it is usual to see an increase

in distortion.
