If using an in-hood CFM1200 or CFM600 fan, slide the
fan mount over the studs at the junction of the hood and
Duct Cover and use the 10-24 nuts supplied to attach the
fan to the hood. (see Figure 10.)
IMPORTANT! If installing a 30” wide chimney style hood,
please see the instructions for mounting a CFM600 in-hood
fan. (see Page 9)

Attach Hood to Structure
by drilling and fastening with
screws.

Verify that damper opens
unobstructed if using
mechanical fasteners that attach
transition to ductwork.
10" Transition; position exhaust
ductwork so bottom of transition is
ush and centered with the bottom
of the duct cover.
Attach Duct Cover to back wall
and to ceiling by drilling and
fastening with screws.
