STEP 1. Apply parking brake and place gear shift into neutral.

Insert the dash trim removal tool behind the upper-right corner of

the radio trim bezel. Pry outward to release a retainer clip. Work

the removal tool counter-clockwise around the bezel until all six

(6) clips are released. Set bezel aside. (Photo 1). Remove four

(4) 7mm screws from the corners of the ash tray. Pull ash tray out

and set aside.

STEP 2. Remove four (4) 10mm screws from the corners of the

radio. Next, remove four (4) 7mm screws from the corners of the

climate control. Pull radio and climate control unit out enough to

install G3. Wrap protective cloth around radio and climate control

to protect from scratches. Do Not disconnect radio wiring.

STEP 3. Place the Pro.Fit VSm G3 against the right side of the

radio cavity. Slide G3 up until it stops just below the clip hole.

(Photo 2). Using the G3 as a guide, mark the location of two (2)

screw holes. Set G3 aside. Drill two (2) pilot holes at the marked

location using a 5/64” drill bit and drill. Align the G3 over the

pilot holes, insert two (2) # 8 x 1/2” screws and tighten.

STEP 4. Re-assemble the dash in reverse order, remembering to

reconnect the wiring harness. This completes the installation of

your Pro.Fit VSM G3.
