6. Orient the Handlebar (7) as shown.
While a second person holds the Handlebar (7)
n
ear the Handlebar Post (6), connect the Upper
Wire (68) to the Lower Wire (69).
Insert the wires into the Handlebar Post (6).
Tip: Avoid pinching the wires. Attach the
Handlebar (7) to the Handlebar Post (6) with a
5/16" x 3/4" Patch Screw (92) and a 5/16" x 2
1/4" Patch Screw (81).

7. Orient the Handlebar Cover (8) as shown.
Attach the Handlebar Cover (8) to the
Handlebar (7) with two #8 x 3/4" Screws (94).
Tip: First, insert the front #8 x 3/4" Screw
(94) through the Handlebar (7). Next, set the
Handlebar Cover (8) on the Handlebar and
tighten the front Screw. Then, tighten the
rear #8 x 3/4" Screw (94) into the Handlebar
and the Handlebar Cover.

8. Identify the Left Pedal (61), which is marked
with an “L.”
Using an adjustable wrench, firmly tighten the
Left Pedal (61) counterclockwise into the Left
Crank Arm (63).
Tighten the Right Pedal (not shown) clockwise
into the Right Crank Arm (not shown).
