INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Pro-Ject CD Box RS
Dear music lover, thank you for purchasing a Pro-Ject Audio CD Box RS. In order to achieve maximum performance and reliability you should study these instructions for use carefully. ! To ensure continued safety, do not remove any covers or attempt to gain access to the inside of the product.
Mains power connection Connect the low voltage plug from the power supply to the Power 20V DC socket before connecting the power supply to the mains. Remote control To switch on from standby or to standby POWER turns the unit on or back into standby Navigation The four cursor keys navigate in lists and menus. No and 1 - 9 access a specific folder directly. OK confirms a selection. List shows a list of folders on a disc. Folder Up steps to next folder / Folder Down steps to previous folder.
Front panel controls Switching on and off The switch on the left hand side of the front panel turns the unit on and off. The blue LED above the ON/OFF switch shows that the unit is switched on. Selecting playback mode MODE on the remote control toggles between the sampling frequencies 44,1 and 88,2kHz (upsampling) and Sonic2 playback mode (sampling frequency 176,4kHz). To store Sonic2 (I2S) ore upsampling to 88,2kHz as the default playback mode, press OK.
Play starts playback of the first track. The display shows the total number of tracks on the disc, the total duration of the disc, the current track number, the elapsed time of the current track and the play icon. If meta data is present on the disc, artist name, album title, track title and an icon for the compression method used (MP3, WMA and FLAC) will be displayed. Pause pauses playback.
