INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE Pro-Ject “iPod goes digital”-Set
Dear music lover, thank you for purchasing a Pro-Ject “iPod goes digital”-Set. In order to achieve maximum performance and reliability you should study these instructions for use carefully. ! Warning of a hazard for the user, the units or possible misuse. Important notice. Safety instructions AC outlet voltages vary from country to country. Before connecting to the mains, make sure that the voltage in your area meets the voltage requirements printed on the power supply.
Connecting amplifier and speakers The output terminals accept loudspeaker cables terminated with 4mm Banana plugs, spades connectors or naked wire. Connect the cable terminals on the amplifier to the terminals on the speakers. The red speaker terminals carry the positive signal (+), the black speaker terminals the negative signal (–). Make sure the polarity of the connection is correct at each end of the cables. ! Only connect one loudspeaker with an impedance not less than 4 ohms per channel.
Mains power connection Stereo Box S Connect the low voltage plug from the power supply to the Power 20V " socket before connecting the power supply to the mains. Dock Box S Digital Connect the low voltage plug from the power supply to the Power 9V " socket before connecting the power supply to the mains. ! Never use any other power supply than the one supplied with the particular unit.
Remote control - Dock Box S Digital iPod® Touch and iPhone® must be unlocked and switched to music mode. The volume control of the apple® device has to be set to max.. To switch on from standby or to standby ON/OFF 0 MENU ON/OFF turns the iPod®/iPhone® into standby. To switch on from standby press any key (except ON/OFF).
Replacing batteries Proceed as follows: Unlock and slide open the battery case cover Replace the battery. Make sure the battery is the right way round ! Close the battery case cover Battery type: 1 x CR2032 / 3V or 1 x CR2025 / 3V Do not dispose the batteries as ordinary domestic refuse. Please dispose your exhausted batteries at the appropriate collection sites - usually located at supermarkets and drugstores.
Service Should you encounter a problem which you are not able to alleviate or identify, please contact your dealer for further advice. Only when the problem cannot be resolved there should the unit be sent to the responsible distributor in your country.
