2. Installation Procedure

Note: If you have installed the Wireless Adapter LAN driver & utility before, please

uninstall the old version first.

Note: The following installation was operated under Windows XP. (Procedures will be

same for Windows 2000 / Windows ME / Windows 98SE)

2.1 Install the Hardware

[For Wireless CardBus Adapter]

STEP1: To use the Wireless CardBus Adapter with a computing device, the Wireless CardBus

Adapter must be equipped with an internal or external PCMCIA Card Type II or Type III

slot.

STEP2: Please firmly insert the Wireless CardBus Adapter into an available PCMCIA Card

slot. PCMCIA Card slot is located on one side of the Laptop.

[For Wireless PCI Adapter]

STEP1: Turn off your computer and remove its cover

STEP2: Insert the PCI card to an available PCI slot firmly. Please refer to the illustration below:
