(2 ) If user wants to connect to o ther AP, He can click “ Connect: butto n for the intended
AP to make connection.
(3 ) If the intended network has encryptio n o ther than “ N o t Use” , RaUI will bring up the
security page appropriate informatio n to make the co nnectio n.
(4 ) W hen yo u double-click o n the intended AP, yo u can see AP’s detail info rmatio n.
3 .5 Advanced
This wireless netwo rk card provides several advanced settings fo r experienced wireless
users. Yo u can change these settings to increase data transfer performance, or change
o peration mo de.
W ireless M ode: Select wireless mo de. Suppo rt 2 .4 G only.
Ena ble Tx Burst: Ralink’s proprietary frame burst mo de.
Ena ble TCP W indow s Size: Enhance thro ughout.
Fa st Roa ming a t: Fast to ro aming, setup by transmit po wer.
Select your Country Region Code: The available channel differs fro m different
countries. Fo r example: USA (FCC) is channel 1-11 , Euro pe (ETSI) is channel 1 -1 3 . The
o perating frequency channel will be restricted to the co untry user lo cated befo re
impo rting. If yo u are in different country, yo u have to adjust the channel setting to
comply the regulation o f the co untry. Supporting region co de fo r this sectio n has
CH1-1 1 , CH1-1 3 , CH1 0 -11 , CH10 -1 3 , CH1 4 , CH1 -1 4 , CH3 -9 , and CH5 -1 3 . Please
