2. Enter the following static route information:
Parameter Description
Destination
LAN IP
Specifies the network address of the remote LAN
segment. For standard class "C" LANs, the network
address is the first 3 fields of this Destination LAN
IP, the 4th field can be left at 0.
Subnet Mask
Specifies the Subnet Mask used on the remote LAN
segment. For class "C" networks, the standard
Network Mask is 255.255.255.0.
Gateway
Specifies the IP Address of the router on the local
LAN segment to which this device is attached.
Note that it is NOT the router on the remote LAN
segment.
Hop
Specifies the number of routers that must be
traversed to reach the remote LAN segment. Valid
values are 1 to 16.
Interface
Specifies the interface through which the router
goes to the next hop or a particular network.
Available options are WAN, LAN and DMZ.
3. Click <<Add.
The new static route appears in the static routing list.
To Delete a Static Route:
1. On the Static Routing page, for any static route that you want to
delete, review the relevant information, seen in FIGURE 4 – 15.
3. Click Delete.
