5. Open Water Reservoir Fill Door and turn
Iron upside down to remove water.
NOTE: Use caution when removing
water. Water can be hot.
Vertical Steam
1. Follow steps 1-4 in “How to Steam
Iron.”
2. Hang garment in a location that is not
susceptible to damage from heat or
moisture. Do not hang by wallpaper,
window, or mirror.
3. Holding Iron about 6 inches (15.2 cm)
away from garment, begin steaming
at top of garment. Slowly move Iron
up and down to cover entire garment.
Press and release Blast or Spray Button
to steam out wrinkles. Do not press
Blast or Spray Button more than once
every 2 seconds.
w CAUTION
Burn Hazard. Steam
is hot. Always point soleplate away from
yourself and others. Never steam clothes
while they are being worn.
4. To turn off, rotate Temperature Dial
counterclockwise to MIN. Unplug.
5. Open Water Reservoir Fill Door and turn
upside down to remove water.
NOTE: Use caution when removing
water. Water can be hot.
Care and Cleaning
Iron
1. Unplug and let cool.
2. Drain water. Store in an upright position.
NOTE: Use caution when turning a
steam iron upside down. There may be
hot water in the Water Reservoir.
Soleplate
1. Never iron over zippers, pins, metal
rivets, or snaps since these may scratch
the soleplate.
2. To clean buildup, wipe with a sudsy
cloth or preheat iron to highest
temperature setting and iron over a
damp, 100% cotton cloth. This creates
heavy steam and transfers grime to the
cloth. Do not use abrasive cleansers or
metal scouring pads.
