5. MIC LEVEL control
The MIC level control adjusts the sensivity of the mic input. The minimum gain is with the knob all way down, ramping
up to maximum gain when rotated fully clockwise.
NOTE: when several speakers are linked using the MIX OUT connector, if a microphone is connected to the rst one its
MIC LEVEL control adjusts the mic level for all the linked speakers. In this case, make sure the the LINE LEVEL control of
all the linked speakers is fully open.
6. SIGN/LIMIT indicator
2-color LED.
GREEN: indicates the presence of signal at the amplier input.
RED: indicates that the amplier's is reaching its maximum output power, so the DSP LIMITER is working. When this LED
ashes RED connuously reduce the input signal level.
7. FRONT LED OFF buon
This buon disables or enables the front LED, which indicates when the system is ON.
8. DSP MODE buon
Use this buon to select one ve EQ PRESETS (MUSIC, LIVE, DJ, MONITOR, SPEECH) available for adapng the
FLASH12XD to dierent applicaons.
9. PRESET indicator
These GREEN LEDs show the current EQ preset loaded in the CORE DSP.
MUSIC: to be used for recorded music playback. This is the default preset.
LIVE: to be used for reproducing at best vocals and instruments in live applicaons.
DJ: specically designed for recorded dance and electronic music playback.
MON: to be used when the loudspeaker is used as a oor monitor for musicians and DJs.
SPEECH: to be used for spoken word applicaons, in parcular when a dynamic microphone is connected directly to
the system.
10. POWER switch
Speaker is "ON" when the switch is in the "I" posion.
NOTE: When you shut down your equipment, turn o the speaker rst. When powering up, turn on the speaker last.
11. LINE VOLTAGE selector
This switch sets the AC voltage line of your country (usually it is set by factory and isn't necessary to change it). The
115V seng is for mains line in the range of 100-120V~ and 230V seng is for mains line in the range of 210-240V~.
WARNING: AN INCORRECT SETTING OF AC LINE VOLTAGE COULD DAMAGE SERIOUSLY THE INTERNAL
ELECTRONICS!
12. FUSE holder
Here is placed the mains protecon fuse.
WARNING: REPLACE THE PROTECTION FUSE ONLY WITH SAME TYPE AS SHOWN ON THE PRODUCT.
IF, AFTER THE REPLACEMENT, THE FUSE BLOWS AGAIN, DO NOT TRY AGAIN TO REPLACE IT BUT CONTACT THE
NEAREST PROEL SERVICE CENTER.
13. AC~ socket
Here’s where you plug in your speakers mains supply cord. You should always use the mains cord supplied with the
speaker. Be sure your speaker is turned o before you plug the mains supply cord into an electrical outlet.
