Noise / Hum • Whenever possible, preferably use only balanced cables. Unbalanced lines may also be used but may result in noise over long cable runs. • Sometimes it helps to plug all audio equipment into the same AC circuit so they share a common ground.

Rumore / Ronzio • Qualora possibile, usare preferibilmente solo cavi bilanciati. Cavi sbilanciati possono essere usati ma risultano rumorosi su lunghe distanze. • Talvolta può essere di aiuto alimentare tutto l'equipaggiamento audio collegandolo dalla stessa linea di corrente AC, in modo che tutti gli apparati condividano la stessa presa di terra.
