3. CONNECTIONS
The RJ45 sockets are located of the rear panel. The two sockets are internally bridged one-to-one and they carry the microphone
output and the priority contact.
The table here below summarizes the pinout of the RJ45 sockets
RJ45 System connectors 1: + microphone out
2: - microphone out
3: microphone ground
4: not used – leave unconnected
5: not used – leave unconnected
6: not used – leave unconnected
7: Priority Amp
8: Priority Amp
NOTE: pin 7 and 8 are a dry contact with no ground reference.
The RJ45 connectors are internally connected pin-to-pin, thus the connection to the amplifier can be done on any of the two. In
case more than one call station is needed, several BM102 can be connected to the same bus. In this case, the free RJ45 socket can
be use to bridge one unit to another.
4. AMPLIFIER WIRING
Fig. 1 shows the connection diagram of the BM102 to audio devices such as amplifiers or mixers with an unbalanced input. The
microphone minus and ground signals (RJ45 pin 2 and 3) are connected to the jack sleeve; the microphone positive signal (RJ45
pin 1) is connected to the jack tip.
