Installation

1. Place the Display Unit on a flat, level surface

with the display face downward and remove the

gasket from the Display Unit.

3. Hook a corner of the Environment Cover on

a front corner of the Display Unit.

Note: When attaching the Environment Cover

on the Display Unit, do not pull or bend the

Environment Cover with excessive force. The

rubber portion may tear or the sheet may peel

off.

4. Starting with the corner of the Environment

Cover hooked over one corner of the Display

Unit, fit the Environment Cover into the Display

Unit’s installation groove.

NOTE: Check the entire perimeter of the

Environment Cover to ensure it is securely fit

into the installation groove.

5. Mount the Display Unit to the panel. For

details on how to mount the Display Unit to the

panel, refer to the Display Unit’s hardware

manual.

2. Align the Environment Cover with the Display

Unit so that the status LED of the Display Unit

can be seen through the opening on the

Environment Cover.

Installing the Environment Cover while

powering the Display Unit may lead to an

electric shock. Prior to installing the

Environment Cover, confirm the Display

Unit's power supply is disconnected.

Failure to follow these instructions

can result in death, serious injury,

or equipment damage.

PRODUCT DAMAGE

• The Environment Cover will degrade. In order to keep constant the water-resistant and

oil-resistant properties, regularly replace the Environment Cover with a new one. (Replace

annually or when stains or scratches become obvious.)

• If you remove a Display Unit with the Environment Cover from a panel after a long period of use,

do not reattach the Display Unit Environment Cover to the panel. Doing so will diminish the

intended effects of the water-resistant and oil-resistant properties.

• Avoid touching the Environment Cover with sharp objects (such as mechanical pencils or screw

drivers) as they will damage the product.

• When cleaning the Environment Cover, do not use bleaches, thinners, organic solvents or

corrosive chemicals. Deformation or discoloration may result.

• When attaching the Environment Cover on the Display Unit, do not pull or bend the Environment

Cover with excessive force. The rubber part may break or the sheet may peel off.

• Do not store or use the Environment Cover in direct sunlight.

• If the Environment Cover becomes dusty, wipe clean with a damp cloth.

• Do not attach or detach the Environment Cover frequently. Doing so can degrade its water, oil

and chemical resistant performance.

• This product is not suitable for all user environments. Do not use this product where it is exposed

to oil or chemicals for long periods of time, or where oil mist fills the air.

• Use on a flat surface of a Type 1, Type 4X (Indoor Use Only) or Type 13 Enclosure.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.

NOTE: When disposing the product, do so according to your country's regulations for similar types of

industrial waste.

mean the level of protection is suitable for all conditions and environments. When using this

product, examine your specific requirements and check if the level of conformity is suitable for your

needs.

Installing the cover on the Display increases its water and chemical resistance. Before using the

product, be sure to read this guide carefully and follow the instructions.
