Safety precautions
To ensure safe operation of your heater, the appliance
must be assembled and connected in accordance with
the indications in the manual. When these instructions
are ignored, the liability of the supplier/manufacturer
becomes null.
The appliance is only suitable for domestic use within
the home.
Do not use the appliance in humid spaces, such as
bathrooms and utility spaces.
When the heater is covered, then this can result in a
fire hazard.
Place the appliance only upright and on a level, dry
base.
Do not use the appliance without the feet fitted or
when fitted incorrectly.
The surfaces, and especially the grate, become very
hot during operation. Make sure that small children
cannot touch these surfaces.
No objects may be inserted through the appliance's
grate opening. This can disrupt the working of the
heater and burn the object, or even cause danger of
electrocution.
Never use the appliance in combination with a time
switch. The automatic operation of heaters can result
in a hazard during your absence.
Never leave your appliance unattended. Also always
pull the plug out of the socket when you leave the
room.
Do not run the mains lead across the hot appliance.
Electrical heaters are designed as additional heating
and are not suitable for main heating during the cold
season.
When the appliance has fallen, then first disconnect
the power supply, before returning the appliance to its
upright position and if necessary remove what caused
it to fall.
Position the heater at a distance of at least 100cm
from obstacles and ensure that the hot air flow of
the appliance is not blown against any easily
combustible objects (such as curtains and/or heat-
sensitive plastics).
Do not use an extension lead.
Connection
The heater is supplied with a socket plug. Never
operate the appliance with a damaged mains lead
and/or plug, or after a malfunctioning of the heater has
occurred or after it has been damaged in any possible
way.
The replacement of a mains lead and/or plug should
only be performed by a qualified expert, who is familiar
with the applicable regulations.
