1. Inspect product, and if necessary, report damage to the distributor, requesting their advice on how to proceed.
2. Protect the shower pan during installation and construction by using this corrugated container as indicated. Cut along the dotted lines and place
the cut out corrugated protector into the center of the shower pan.
3. Measure product dimensions, and then frame construction area to suit, using 2x4 stringers to support the perimeter.
Caution: This new fixture
has a durable finish;
however, extra care
should be exercised during
installation, when rough
handling and dropped
tools may cause damage.
4. Test-fit the product in position, checking for level front to back and left to right, as well as alignment of plumbing attachments. If necessary, use
small shims in conjunction with the support pad, to achieve good level.
5. Once fit, level, and aligned, use roofing nails or drywall screws with washers just above the tile flange, securing flange to wall studs as detailed:
6. Drain assembly, faucet and the shower head should be installed to manufacturer’s specifications. Over tightening the drain can damage the
shower pan. Caulking should be used to seal the gap between apron panel and floor.
CARE AND CLEANING
Clean with warm water, soft cloth or nylon brush, and a mild detergent like “ZUD” or “Barkeepers Friend” according to cleanser directions.
