If you purchase the optional chest heart rate monitor (see page 29), follow the additional step below to

install the receiver included with the chest heart rate monitor.

19. Note: If you have already assembled the ellipti-

cal, reverse steps 14 and 13.

See the inset drawing. Remove the paper from

the adhesive pad on the back of the receiver (A).

Orient the receiver so that the antenna on the

receiver is in a horizontal position parallel

to the floor. Press the receiver onto the indi-

cated location on the inside of the Rear Upright

Cover (81).

Next, connect the wire on the receiver (A) to the

Extension Wire (128) in the Upright (4).

Note: Discard any other wires that are included

with the heart rate monitor.

cal, complete steps 13 and 14.
