The PEEMB Series emergency battery pack can be installed in ballast channels and enclo-
sures that have an internal height down to . inches. The PEEMB housing is constructed
out of galvanized steel. The PEEMB Series works in tandem with an AC ballast to power one
or two ’ – ’ single or Bi-pin T and T lamps.

Installation:
The PEEMB fluorescent emergency battery pack does not affect normal fixture operation and
may be used with either a switched or unswitched fixture. If a switched fixture is used, an un-
switched AC power supply must also be connected to the PEEMB, and must be fed from the
same branch circuit as the fixture’s AC ballast. The PEEMB may be installed on or remote from
the fixture. For remote installation, the PEEMB may be installed up to one-half the distance the
AC ballast manufacturer recommends for remote location from the fixture, or up to  feet,
whichever is less. The remote battery pack must be installed in its own enclosure or in a location
that allows the wiring to be fully enclosed. Install the integral test switch for visual confirmation
of the charge indicator LED and simplified testing.
