MICROWAVE POWER LEVELS
Your oven has6 power levels.
Power
setting
Suggested use
800 W/HIGH Usedfor fast cooking or reheating (e.g. soup, casseroles, canned food, hot
beverages, vegetables, fish).
560 W Usedfor longercooking of dense foods such asroast joints, meatloafand plated
meals, also forsensitivedishes such as cheesesauce andsponge cakes. At this
reduced setting,the sauce will not boil over andfoodwillcookevenly without over
cooking at thesides.
400 W For densefoodswhich require a long cooking time when cookedconventionally (e.g.
beefdishes) itis advisable touse this powersetting toensure the meat will betender.
240 W/
DEFROST
To defrost, select thispower setting,to ensure that thedishdefrosts evenly. This
setting is alsoideal forsimmering rice,pasta, dumplings andcooking egg custard.
80 W For gentle defrosting (e.g.cream gateaux or pastry).
0 W For standing/kitchentimer.
W = WATT
Example: To heat soup for 2 minutes and 30
seconds on 560 W microwave power.
1. Press the POWER LEVEL button twice.
2. Enter the time by rotating the
TIMER/WEIGHT knob clockwise/anti-
clockwise until 2.30 is displayed.
3. Press the START/+30 button.
4.  Check the display:
Important!
If the power level is not selected, 
800 W/HIGH is automatically set.
Whenthe door is opened duringthe cooking
process, the cooking time on thedigital
display stops automatically. The cookingtime
starts tocountdownagain whenthe door is
closed and theSTART/+30 buttonis pressed.
If you wish toknow the power level during
cooking, press the POWER LEVEL button
once.
You canincrease or decreasethe cooking
timeduring cooking by rotating the
TIMER/WEIGHT knob.
You canchange thepowerlevel during
cooking by pressing the POWER LEVEL
button.
To cancel a programme duringcooking, press
the STOP buttontwice.
