CAUTION • If you solder the joints during installation of the faucet, the seats, cartridges, and washers must be removed before using a flame or the warranty will be voided on these parts. • Cover the sink drain to avoid losing parts. WARNING • Protect your eyes with safety glasses when cutting or soldering water supply lines.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Turn off water at the supply valve at the main water supply, disconnect the supply lines, and remove old shower head and faucet body. 1 Clean and dry surface area where new shower will be mounted. 2. Place new faucet (A) through holes in top of sink. From underside, slide mounting nuts onto threaded rods. Secure with mounting nuts (AA). 2 A AA 3. Attach spray assembly hose (3.1) to the connection (3.2) beneath the faucet by tightening the swivel nut (3.3) by hand.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Each handle controls the flow of either hot or cold water to the faucet. Rotating the hot side handle counterclockwise, and likewise rotating the cold side handle clockwise, opens the cartridge and causes water to flow out from the spout. The degree of handle opening determines the volume of water flow. Returning the handles to their original position stops the flow of water. CARE AND MAINTENANCE Clean periodically with a soft cloth.
TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE CORRECTIVE ACTION Improper water pattern. Aerator dirty or small parts inside aerator improperly installed. 1. Remove the aerator from the spout end by turning it clockwise. 2. Gently flush the small parts inside the aerator to clear away any debris. 3. Re-install the small parts as shown in the exploded diagram. Metal screens must be flat and plastic supporter must be straight. 4. Screw the aerator onto the spout end and tighten.
