1. Tighten the long mounting screws (CC) 2 full
turns into the holes in the mounting bracket (DD).
Then fasten mounting bracket (DD) onto the
ceiling outlet box (not included) using short
mounting screws (BB).

Attach wire nuts (AA). Tape wire nuts (AA)
and wires together.

5. Install light bulbs (not included). Use two 60-watt
max. standard-base bulbs or two 13-watt standard-
base CFL bulbs.

4. Place the xture (A) over the outlet box. Allow
heads of long mounting screws (CC) to come
out through the large ends of the key holes.
Twist xture (A) until heads of long mounting
screws (CC) slide into narrow end of key holes.
Tighten long mounting screws (CC) to secure
xture (A).

Strip 3/4 in. of insulation from wire ends.
Twist stripped ends together with pliers (not
included), black to black (power) and white to
white (neutral). Attach copper wire to ground
wire. Helpful hint: If necessary, attach copper
ground wire to grounded junction box.

6. Remove knob (H), cap (G), nut (F), rubber
ring (D) and washer (C) from the threaded
nipple (B). Tighten the threaded nipple (B) into
the xture (A). Place the washer (C), rubber
ring (D) and glass shade (E) onto the threaded
nipple (B), then secure with nut (F). Place cap (G)
onto the threaded nipple (B) and secure with
knob (H).
