REAR PROJECTION SCREENS
• Da-Plex is a rigid rear projection solution based on acrylic screen materials.
• Acrylic rigid screen materials offer high resolution diffusive reflection for permanent
installations.
• The thin diffusion coating is permanently bonded to the acrylic substrate and cannot peel
off like laminated film or vinyl based diffusion screens.
• Acrylic substrate for breakage resistance, lightweight, high optical quality, ease of
handling and superior transmission.
• Da-Plex is available in standard sizes up to 251 cm and 427 cm wide. Larger sizes available
upon request.
• The screen substrate is made of a clear acrylic plastic.
• The substrate has an optical coating on one surface that does not exceed 0.1 mm in
thickness.
• Da-Plex rear projection screens are to be mounted with the coated surface towards the
audience.
• Standard and Self-Trimming factory frame options are available.
• Da-Plex is standard with DA-100. Other coatings are available upon request.
DA-100
A neutral grey diffusion coating that provides contrast enhancement while
maintaining uniformity and colour rendition. Its versatility makes it a good choice
for situations with good control over ambient light and where a wide viewing angle
is necessary. It is also well suited for high resolution applications. Screen surface can
be cleaned with mild soap and water.
DA-150
A neutral grey diffusion coating designed to provide a higher amount of brightness
and contrast for situations where a low level of ambient light is present or where a
projector with moderate output is utilised. Screen surface can be cleaned with mild
soap and water.
DA-130
A neutral grey diffusion coating designed to provide a moderate amount of brightness
for applications where ambient light is controllable and moderately wide viewing
angles are required. Screen surface can be cleaned with mild soap and water.
DA-180
A neutral grey coating offering a higher on-axis gain for situations where a moderate
output projector is utilised and where there is a high amount of ambient light present.
This coating is well suited for applications where viewing angles are not wide and a
higher gain coating is needed for on-axis viewing. Screen surface can be cleaned with
mild soap and water.
