IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION Please read this instruction thoroughly before fitting the tray. This product is recommend to be fitted by a workshop or qualified mechanical person. WARNINGS • Before installation, make sure that the vehicle is stationary and the wheels chocked. • Be careful when laying wires, not to cause any electrical shorts or wire breakage. • After installation ensure the bonnet can close without hitting the newly installed battery and battery tray.
FITTING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Make sure that the vehicle is stationary, the engine is switched off and cool. Disconnect the negative battery terminal from the main battery. 2. Remove fuel canister mount, terminal box and computers. 3. The longest leg on the terminal box needs to be cut off. 4. Back corner of the computer mount needs to be trimmed to fit around A/C pipe. 5. Remove relay from inner guard. 6. Place conduit over fuel line from canister.
7. Bolt computer mounts onto the inner guard, then bolt computer to mounts and move into position and tighten all bolts. 8. Bolt lower bracket on terminal box and bolt into position. 9. Modify relay mounts and bolt onto inner guard with terminal mount using the M6 bolt. 10. Place tray into position and bolt base mounts with 4 x M6 Hex bolts. 11. Bolt tray mounts to inner guard using M8 bolts.
12. Bolt fuel filter Canister to mounts on tray using 2 x M8 long bolts and nuts. 13. Lengthen wiring to fuel filter canister (2 x Plugs). Wire will need to be added to lengthen the cable. 14. Once the battery is in place secure top mount using J bolts and bolt to the brace using M6 bolt, nut & washer. 15. Reconnect the negative battery terminal to the main starter battery or install the desired Dual Battery System. Before closing the bonnet make sure the battery and tray do not hit the bonnet.
