IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNINGS
This product is designed for domestic use only. Commercial or any other use may
invalidate the guarantee and might be dangerous.
Do not subject the apparatus to extreme mechanical impact or vibration.
If the apparatus is dropped, seek expert advice as the calibration could be inaccurate.
If anything goes wrong, don't try and fix it yourself, get a qualified service agent to
look at the product.
Save these instructions for future reference.
We have designed and made this product to meet European safety standards, but as
with any electronic equipment you must take care.
Use this product only for its intended purpose as described by the manufacturer.
Examine the product thoroughly: if it is damaged in any way, return it to the retail
store where you purchased it.
Avoid harsh conditions such as wet or damp places, rain, high humidity, strong
vibration, extremely high or low temperatures, strong sunlight and places that are very
dusty.
DO NOT remove outer panels or covers from the product. Repairs must only be
undertaken by a qualified service person.
CLEANING
Do not use chemical solvents or strong detergents as these may damage the cosmetic
finish. Use a dry cloth only. For stubborn stains use a dampened cloth.
Clean the bowl in mild soapy water.
Do not wash any part in a dishwasher.
OPERATION
The kitchen scale comes with both measuring system of Metric (Kilograms, grams)
and Imperial (pounds, ounces).
1.Place the scale on a stable and level surface.
2.Place the measuring bowl on the scale.
3.Turn the dial so as to make sure the red needle point to the zero position on the dial.
4.Put the ingredients you want to weigh in the measuring bowl. The kitchen scale
can weigh up to 6.5lbs x 1oz or 3Kg x 25g of ingredients.
5.Weigh your ingredients and set the scale back to zero to weigh the next.
