OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLING THE BATTERIES (NOT SUPPLIED)
1. Remove the battery compartment cover located on the rear of
the unit.
2. Insert two AAA size batteries observing the polarity markings.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
CAUTION: Do not mix old and new or different types or makes of
batteries.
OPERATING THE RADIO
1. Press AM/FM POWER ON to select the AM or FM
waveband.
2. Rotate the TUNING knob to tune in to the desired station.

When a strong station is tuned in, the TUNE indicator light will
come on.

When playing FM stations, fully extend the FM antenna for
optimal reception.

When playing AM stations, turn the unit slowly until the best
reception is obtained.
3. Adjust the volume control to the desired level.
4. To turn off the radio, press POWER OFF.
SETTING THE CLOCK
1. When the unit is in radio mode, press POWER OFF
to enter the clock mode.
2. Press and hold TIME SET then press HOUR and MINUTE
repeatedly until the correct hour and minute setting are reached.
3. Release TIME SET.
SETTING THE ALARM
1. Tune in to a station (see ‘OPERATING THE RADIO’).
2. Press POWER OFF to enter the clock mode.
3. Press and hold ALARM SET then press HOUR and MINUTE
repeatedly until the desired alarm time is reached.
4. Release ALARM SET.
