Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play on or near the appliance.
Refrigerant
The refrigerating gas contained in the circuit
of this appliance is Isobutene (R600a); it cau-
ses a low level of pollution but is inflammable.
Caution! Extreme caution must be used
when moving the appliance.
Warning! When transporting and
installing the appliance, extreme care
shall be taken to avoid injury. Do not
damage any part of the refrigerant
system.
Do not use sharp or pointed objects such as
knives to remove ice when defrosting.
Do not use mechanical devices or other
means to accelerate the defrosting process,
other than those recommended by the man-
ufacturer.
Do not use electrical appliances inside the
food storage compartments of the appli-
ance, unless they are of the type recommen-
ded by the manufacturer.
If the appliance is installed in a carpeted area,
do not let the carpet block the ventilation
holes in the base of the unit, adjust the lev-
elling feet after a few hours to compensate
for carpet movement.
Keep ventilation openings, in the appliance
enclosure or the built in structure clear of ob-
structions.
Operation
Thermostat setting
You can set the internal temperature by turn-
ing the thermostat knob on the thermostat
housing to the required setting 1 - 6.
The recommended normal setting is 3 or 4.
Important! The ambient room temperature
should be between 16 ºC and 32 ºC for
correct operation.
Appliance Thermostat Setting;
Setting 0 turns the appliance OFF but does
not disconnect it from the mains, to do this
you must remove the plug from the wall
socket.
To control the internal temperature, adjust
the thermostat control knob to the required
position, the thermostat control is positioned
on the side of the thermostat housing.
The temperature control knob has 6 settings
0,1,2,3,4,5,6 Where 1 is the warmest and 6
is the coldest setting. 0 is the OFF position.
Adjust the temperature control to the setting
marked 3 o r 4 to maintain –18 ºC in the
freezer compartment.
Important! If the appliance is unplugged,
power lost or turned off, you must wait 10
minutes before restarting the unit.
If you attempt to restart before this time de-
lay, the appliance may not start.
Important! the temperature of the freezer
compartment and how fast fresh food
freezes is dependant on room ambient
temperature how much fresh food is being
frozen and how often the door is opened.
If required, set the thermostat control to a
higher setting.
