Heat Mat Thermostat Controller PPHTC-1

INSTRUCTION MANUAL

QUICK SETUP

1. Place the probe into the desired medium you wish to

control, for seeds/cuttings insert 1” to 1-½” into soil.

For controlling air temperature, you can use the

included suction cup or attach via clip or tape to an

open area away from drafts or cold surfaces.

2. Plug your heating device into the outlet on the bottom

of the thermostat.

3. Plug the thermostat’s power cord into the electrical

outlet. The POWER LED light will turn on.

4. Changing Temperature Setpoint: Press the (SET)

button for 3 seconds until the display numbers

FLASH Press the ‘’ (UP) or ‘’ (DOWN) arrow

button to adjust the temperature, press the (SET)

button again to set the chosen temperature.

USING THE CONTROLLER

Press and hold ‘’ (UP) button to display temperature in

Fahrenheit.

Press and hold ‘’ (DOWN) button to display temperature

in Celsius.

When the unit is plugged in, the POWER LED light will be lit. The heating source (OUTLET PLUG) only has power when the HEATING LED light is lit. When the preset temperature is reached, the HEATING LED light will turn off, and shut off power to the (OULET PLUG). When the temperature drops 2°F (1°C) below your setpoint the HEATING LED light will be lit and send power to the (OULET PLUG).
