Step 1: Select image

Enter “ImageSet” menu. Move cursor to “Select image” to select the image to set mask alarm. Press [Menu] to confirm.

Step 2: Activate mask alarm

Press [Menu] key to select “Mask alarm” to activate mask alarm.

Step 3: Sensitivity setting

Set “Sensitivity”. Seven options (level 1-7) are available. You can customize the settings.

Step 4: Process mask alarm

Move cursor to “Process”. Press [Menu] key to customize the parameters of processing dialogue box. (See Chapter 5.2.3:

Alarm processing setting on page 21.)

Step 5: Copy channel

You may copy the contents of area mask setting to another channel or all channels. Select a channel in “Copy setting to”

and click "Copy” button. Repeat step 1 and 4 if the areas of other channels are different.

Step 6: Save

After the image mask setting of all channels, click “OK” button in “Image setting” menu to save and exit.

Step 7: Activate/deactivate alert

Activate Press [Alert] key on front panel to activate mask alarm recording. Alerting symbol will be displayed on the

screen. If alarm occurs, the symbol will be displayed on the screen. The recorder will buzz. Press [Clear] on front panel to clear

alarm output.

Deactivate Press the [Alert] key on front panel and the dialogue box “Input PSW” will popup if password protection is

enabled. (Default password: 88888888) Enter valid password to exit alerting state. Mask alarm recording will be stopped and

alerting symbol will disappear.
