7. Now feed the thermal sensor through the mounting
bracket as far as possible and fix it to the mounting
bracket using the side screw. Do not tighten the screw
too far to avoid damage to the thermal sensor.
8. Lay the wire to the stove transmitter.
9. Connect the wire on the thermal sensor to the stove
transmitter and the wire marked in red to the screw
ROT / RED and the wire marked in black to the screw
SCHWARZ / BLACK.
10. There is a wall mount on the back of the stove
transmitter. This can be pushed down and removed
from the stove transmitter.
11. Remove the cover from the stove transmitter and insert
the 2 x AA batteries with the correct polarity as marked.
Then you can slide the cover back on.
12. Look for a suitable location to attach the stove
transmitter and screw the wall bracket for the
transmitter into place. The stove transmitter should be
at least 50 cm away from the exhaust pipe so that the
transmitter cannot be destroyed by heat. Also the stove
transmitter should not be attached behind cladding as
this limit its range.
INITIAL OPERATION
Encoding
The exhaust control unit is encoded at the factory and
does not necessary need to be taught at initial
operation. If there are faults and/or function errors then
carry out the following encoding steps. This recreates
the structure of the exhaust controls.
Brief instructions
Factory settings
Press and hold the reset button (figure 7)
The unit will beep once after approx. 1 second and
4 green LEDs will flash.
There will be 3 beeps after another 7 seconds
followed by a pause and 3 more beeps. The
power LED will light constantly
Release the reset/learn button; the device is now
set to default
Teaching the sensors:
(All the sensors to be taught are ready for operation)
Briefly press the reset button on the central unit (figure 7)
1 beep will sound after approx. 1 second and the
4 green LEDs will flash
Now briefly press the learn button on sensor 1
After approx. 10 seconds the LED will light
constantly depending on the sensor type
(window, roller shutter, stove contact) and will
beep once for sensor 1 and n times for sensor n
Press the set button on the next sensor within
50 seconds of the beep.
