OPERATION
Download the PROTO TOOLS APP from the APPstore.
Proper Hand Position (Fig. A)

Power ON/OFF (Fig.A)
1. To turn the wrench on and off, press the multifunction
button

Pairing Wrench with a Bluetooth® Device
(Fig.A, G)
1. Remove wrench for the chargingdock.
NOTE : Connectivity will not function while the wrench
ischarging.
2. Place the wrench and the Bluetooth® device within 3.3'
(1m) of eachother.
3. Turn ON wrench with a short press of the multifunction
button

NOTE : During power up, the wrench should be placed
on a flat surface to allow auto calibration of the internal
gyro for angle mode. The firmware version number will
be displayed during boot. Wait approx. 2–3 seconds
until the orange status light has stopped flashing and
the main screen isdisplayed.

5. Open the APP and follow pairing instructions onscreen.
6. Once paired the BLE status light

Modes and Setting
The wrench works in Manual mode (offline) when not
connected to theAPP.
NOTE: Certain functions are only available when online, or
paired with a compatibledevice.
Offline Mode
When the wrench is not connected to the APP, this is
referred to as offline mode.
1. The last injected sequence can be repeated, if no sequence
has been injected the wrench is in trackingmode.
