These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.

Information for Professional Installer 2.1.2 Antenna Gain Configuration When using external antenna, the professional installer should ensure to configure proper antenna gain so that the radio does not exceed the EIRP allowed per regulatory domain. Calculate the antenna gain as follows: Antenna Gain to be configured = Antenna Gain of the antenna used - Cable Loss Example: Consider an example where the device is operating in United States 5.3 GHz with the EIRP 30 dBm.
