1. All shields should be grounded as shown, at signal source
only. Other end remains floating.
2. All Power, and Ground wires must be #20 gage wire
Lighting #22 AWG, other wires minimum #24 AWG
3. All mic and headphonejacks must be isolated from ground.
4. All shielded wires must be MIL
22750
or
27500.
5. Unswitched inputs are always presented to speaker
and crew headphones, regardlessof SPR switch or PTT.
6. Pin 25 is logic low when COM 2 selected for transmit
Pin 24 is logic low when SPLIT COM transmit is selected
7. No connectionto pins 6, 16, 26, 26, 27, 28.
8. Pin 39 is logic for some specific autopilots, and is not
otherwise used.
9. MON 1 and MON 2 can be connected to the Avidyne R9
IFDs to listen to the standby frequencies. Alternately they can
be used to listen to DME and or ADF audio if installed.
