Using the Stand The latch on the back of the stand is used for locking and unlocking the stand to the scanner. (Before placing the scanner in the stand, make sure the latch is pulled all the way outward.) With the latch in its outward position, the stand will function as a dock for the scanner that will remain on the counter when the scanner is picked up for handheld scanning. To lock the stand to the scanner, place the scanner into the stand and push the latch in toward the scanner until it clicks.
