Psion Teklogix 7530 G2 Hand-Held Computer Quick Reference Guide 21
CAUTION:If the battery is accidentally removed while the 7530
G2 is operational and is then reinserted (within
approximately 6 minutes), there is a potential that the
7530 G2 will not operate as intended. Should this
occur, remove the battery for at least 10 minutes (until
the internal backup capacitor is depleted) and then
reinsert the battery pack. When the 7530 G2 is
powered up, it will return to the initial start-up menu.
While there will be no damage to the 7530 G2,
unsaved data may be lost.
1.5 Switching The 7530 G2 On
• Press and hold down [ENTER] for at least one second.
• When all four LEDs flash yellow, release the [ENTER] key.
A splash screen displaying the Psion Teklogix logo and the Micro-
soft Windows CE logo appears followed by the startup desktop.
Note: If the 7530 G2 is in suspend state, pressing [ENTER/ON]
‘wakes’ the unit from this state. The screen in which you were
working before the computer entered suspend state is dis-
played.
1.6 Switching The 7530 G2 Off
Important: Keep in mind that turning off the 7530 G2 does not
result in a complete reboot; rather, the unit enters a
power-saving, “suspend” state. When the 7530 G2 is
turned on from suspend state, operation resumes
within a few seconds.
To switch off the 7530 G2:
• Press the [BLUE] key, and then press [ENTER/ON].
