Psion Teklogix 7535 Hand-Held Computer Quick Start Guide 21
1. Basic Preparation
Important: All approval and safety information is outlined in the
‘7535 Hand-Held Computer User Manual’ – part
number 8000007. It is important that you review
all safety guidelines before charging a battery or
operating a scanner.
This quick start guide provides basic information on the operation
and features of the Psion Teklogix 7535 Hand-Held Computer. For
more detailed information, refer to the 7535 Hand-Held Computer
User Manual, the online help, or the documentation supplied with
the application you are using.
Typically, 7535 hand-helds are configured at the factory and arrive
ready for use. Although the 7535 is equipped with an internal Com-
pact Flash and SD I/O slot, these slots are not intended for user mod-
ification. If a device needs to be changed or added in these slots,
contact qualified Psion Teklogix personnel.
1.1 Charging The Battery
Batteries shipped from the factory are not charged. They must be
fully charged prior to use. Full capacity may not be reached until at
least 5 full charge/discharge cycles have been performed.
1.2 Attaching The Hand Strap
Important: Do not use adhesives such as Loctite to secure the
screws on the carrying accessories. These chemicals
may damage the plastic casing.
Two Phillips head screws are provided with the hand strap.
