24.2. ZM12.SIDE - SIDE MOUNTING BRACKET
This bracket is used to mount DIMENSION units sideways with or without utilizing a DIN-Rail. The two aluminum
brackets and the black plastic slider of the unit have to be detached, so that the steel brackets can be mounted.
For sideway DIN-rail mounting, the removed aluminum brackets and the black plastic slider need to be mounted on
the steel bracket.

24.3. YR40.242 – REDUNDANCY MODULE
The YR40.242 redundancy module is equipped with two input channels, which are
individually decoupled by utilizing MOSFET technology. Using MOSFETs instead of diodes
reduces the heat generation and the voltage drop between input and output.
The YR40.242 does not require an additional auxiliary voltage and is self-powered even in
case of a short circuit across the output.
Due to the low power losses, the unit is very slender and only requires 36mm width on the
DIN-rail.
