INSTALLATION:
Note: For use in residential sump pump applications only.
MAXIMUM 20 PSI.
1. Unplug your pump.
2. Disconnect the pump’s discharge pipe from
below your existing check valve.
3. Drain the discharge pipe above the check
valve into your basin or a bucket and
remove the old check valve.
4. Loosen all four hose clamps on your new
check valve.
5. Ensure the spacing between the two
discharge pipes is 7 1/4”. Cut the discharge
pipe as necessary.
6. Install your new check valve with the ow
arrow pointing away from the pump by
inserting the two pipe ends into the exible
rubber adapters
7. Position the check valve assembly as shown
and tighten all four hose clamps. Do not
exceed 20 in-lbs. Do not over-tighten.
8. Plug in your pump and ll basin with
water to cycle your system a few times
checking for leaks. Retighten hose clamps if
necessary. Do not over-tighten.
